Abbreviations, suffixes, prefixes and more App Reviews

There is no search function which makes it a bit difficult to navigate this program. I would like to see different sections for prefixes etc. rather than grouping them with abbreviations. This app contains lot of terms for a good price.

I give this review one star because the app does open. But that is all it does...just open to a frozen screen. What a waste. Wont be purchasing anything else from the company.

This app is just full of abbreviations and acronyms. Lacking a lot of medical terminology. Waste of money.

I didn´t use the app so often, with this update it seems it have improved a lot. I just moved it to my iPod main screen :-)

After new updated, wont get past first load screen. Tried to restart but still nothing. Wouldnt buy until they fix the issue.

This application is great, and comes in handy quite often. The only problem that I have is that after the last update I have double of everything. Dose anyone else have this problem?

I cant get passed the "loading" screen :( it worked great until the new update! I tried deleting and reinstalling as well... No luck. If this issue is resolved I will give a 5 star... Until then, I am quite sad because I was using this app frequently since I work in a hospital (saves me time so that I dont have to google things)! Please fix this!!!

Needs a search feature. Waste of time scrolling through thousands of meaningless and scarce abbreviations to actually find a medical terminology term.

Thousands of acronyms but no search function and just one word description of terms. The description of Coccyx is Cuckoo Bill; Pelvis = Basin; Polio = Grey? How does anyone learn something from that? A total waste of money. Who are the people giving this app five stars?

My app will not load all of a sudden. Someone please fix this imm! Otherwise great app.

I guess I miss read the definition of the App. I was expecting more alone the lines of definitions for diagnosis for a non medical person. I am trying to decide to keep or delete. Maybe I am not the right end user. Ralph / Miami

This is titled as medical dictionary, but just has prefixes and sufixes, and abbreviations

I bought this app thinking it was a medical dictionary because its listed as such. I could have purchased a better medical abbreviations app at a lower price. Dont fall into this trap.

Have to caps on to look up terms and even then it doesnt search that well. Have to scroll to look for the right term. Its ok for looking up terms I dont know.

I love this app it is almost perfect. You search the abbreviation, touch the definition and you get information from wikipedia. I tagged the definition and it is added to my favorites. I have to say a very handy app. A must have!

This app has a lot of potential and it is a good companion. I love the way it is organized, easy to find what your are looking for, easy to tags the items in your favorites, easy to share them. I can also add what i need. As a whole, it is suitable for my needs.

This app helps me a lot as a quick and easy to use everyday. The feature i really love is that it is the only one reference app which let me add my owns, i love it. This feature makes this app worth the price.

This app have improved a lot since the first release, i would love to see flash card support. Even thought it comes very handy.

It is missing some abbreviations, but, it is the only app which let me add my own definitions, or whatever i need for a good price. Comes very handy at your daily activities.
